Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) also known as Foamed concrete is one of the most significant type of concrete used for construction purposes due to its various advantages and usages over traditionally produced concrete. Foamed concrete is manufactured by mixing Portland cement, sand, fly ash, water and preformed foam in varied proportions.
Foamed concrete is a new type of light weight high strength and energy saving building material widely used in construction industry. This paper which is based on foam concrete properties and preparation process analysis and also the research progress of blending materials, admixtures and fibers effect on the performance of foamed concrete.
In this paper, parametric experimental study for producing CLWC using fly ash is presented. The performance of cellular lightweight concrete in term of density and compressive strength are investigated. From the result, it can be seen that compressive strength for cellular light weight concrete is low for lower density mixture.
The paper presents the results of research aimed at development of nanomodified high-strength lightweight concrete for construction. The developed concretes are of low average density and high ultimate compressive strength. It is shown that to produce this type of concrete one need to use hollow glass and aluminosilicate microspheres. To increase the durability of adhesion between cement stone.
Flexural Performance of Bamboo Reinforced Foamed Aerated Concrete Beams With and Without Compression. Reinforcement. Efe Ikponmwosa, Funso Falade, Christopher Fapohunda, James Okosun. Abstract— The results of investigation conducted to evaluate the flexural performance of foamed aerated concrete beams with bamboo splints as tensile.
Aerated concrete block, also referred to as autoclaved aerated concrete or AAC, is an innovative type of concrete containing around 80 percent air. These special concrete blocks have a number of advantages: They're strong, light and provide better sound and thermal insulation than conventional blocks.
We are utilizing standard size of block form is (19 x 9 x 9) cm (IS 1077: 1992). This paper is set up to demonstrate the exercises and advancement of the light weight concrete. The execution of light weight cement, for example, compressive quality tests and thickness and beneficial tests and examination made with different kinds of block.

Aerated concrete produced by the addition of an air-entraining agent to the concrete (or a lightweight aggregate such as expanded clay aggregate or cork granules and vermiculite) is sometimes called cellular concrete, lightweight aerated concrete, variable density concrete, Foam Concrete and lightweight or ultra-lightweight concrete, not to be.
